About Me
My name is Dr. Nelson O. O. Zounlomè (he/him) and I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington. I am a proud child of immigrants and first-generation college graduate.
I have over 7 years of experience working with clients to overcome a variety of mental health concerns, and specialize in working with individuals from historically marginalized communities (i.e., BIPOC, immigrants, and LGBTQIA+). I also have experience working with university/college populations (students, staff, and faculty), career counseling, and survivors of sexual violence.

How I Help
I use a strengths-based, multicultural, and client-centered therapeutic approach. I greatly value collaborating with clients to create both short and long term goals that enhance their overall well-being. I center my clients’ diverse backgrounds, intersecting identities, and experiences through cultural humility and sensitivity. I also provide tools, such as using CBT, ACT, or mindfulness interventions and techniques, so that clients walk away from therapy with confidence and purpose. My overall goal is to empower clients to thrive and live holistically full lives.
