About Me
Above all else, I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the clinician and client is the most important part of the therapy process. I do my best to build a safe space for us to work together, and ensure that we are a good fit before moving forward. With a lot of empathy and a little bit of humor, I believe that we can work together to make positive change based on your individual goals. I try to create a safe environment where all emotions can be felt and validated, and I strongly believe in the ability to feel more than one thing at once.
I have worked with people from a number of backgrounds working through different issues, however I am most passionate about working with those who are experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, or life transitions. I am passionate about grief and making space for grief - I believe it impacts our lives in a multitude of ways beyond death. Grief can mean loss of a number of different things, including the death of a family member, friend, pet, or pregnancy; it can mean loss of a job, income, relationship, friendship, or location; it can encompass any other loss that feels personal to you. To me, holding space and creating a narrative to process these devastating and emotionally complex changes is how we move through. Grief and loss are human experiences and our reactions to those experiences are deeply unique and personal. It is an honor to be able to walk alongside you on this journey.
