About Me
I’ve been in the field for over 20 years, and I have developed an eclectic collection of modalities that I use to work with clients. I pull strongly from trauma-informed, strength-based, and person-centered treatment approaches. I truly believe relationships are the foundation of therapy, so I try my best to be authentic, genuine, and transparent. Furthermore, I work hard to be culturally knowledgeable and humble with every client. I have a passion for working with marginalized people, specifically BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. It is an honor to watch someone develop confidence in who they are. My goal is to create a space where you feel as secure as possible so that you can be vulnerable enough to explore discomfort. Prepare to be challenged in a supportive and non-judgmental environment, and I will expect you to be committed and fully present while we’re together.

How I Help
While I believe talk therapy can be powerful on its own, I do use evidence-based modalities like CBT, EMDR, and DBT when appropriate. Body work is also important in treating the whole person, so you can expect to connect with your body as we move forward in the therapeutic process.
