About Me

From a foundation of respect, open-mindedness and honesty, I encourage and empower those I work with to connect with themselves as they move toward the changes they are seeking. My approach to therapy is relaxed and down-to-earth. I will collaborate with you in a nonjudgmental and supportive manner to help you make sense of complex or distressing thoughts and feelings. I believe that success in therapy is largely influenced by trust and therapeutic rapport. In effort to create a safe environment for growth, it is my mission to ensure that each individual I work with feels genuinely cared for, heard and understood.

My vision for co-founding this practice is that it would be a space for a wide variety of clinicians to collaborate and grow both professionally and personally in their practice. I draw from a range of experiences working in community mental health, with military/veteran populations, and in private practice settings to provide high quality clinical supervision to other practitioners.

Areas Of Focus

I am passionate about working with people who are experiencing difficulty managing their emotions, and feel a loss of control or direction in their lives. I have extensive experience working with anger management, anxiety, relationship distress, communication difficulties and trauma recovery. In particular, I have clinical interest and expertise in working with past and present members of the military and first responders.

How I Help

I understand that every person has unique needs, and tailor each session to the individual. Taking a strengths-based approach, I often integrate components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. By increasing self-awareness, you will be better able to understand the barriers keeping you from happiness, and our work together will help you to develop your strengths, coping skills and confidence.

Please note that I currently have limited availability for individual clients as my main role serves in the operations of the practice.
